Here’s a live example of the style and structure I build for local service businesses: Best Plumbing Glendale — a conversion-first local plumbing landing page with clear services, trust signals, FAQs, and an easy path to call or request a quote.

Live demo: https://belcamino.com/websites/glendale-plumber/
This is a fake business used as a demo, but the structure is exactly what real owners need: credibility, clarity, and contact.

Your site will be hosted at your domain (e.g. https://bestglendaleplumber.com).
  • Click-to-call focused layout (phone is always easy to find, especially on mobile)
  • Services + service area clarity so customers instantly know “yes, they do what I need”
  • Trust signals (owner/operator section, clean copy, and a professional tone that feels local)
  • FAQ section that reduces “tire-kicker calls” and increases serious inquiries
  • Work photos to make it feel real (swap in your actual job photos for even better conversion)

Many businesses start with the core website plan, then add enhancements as needed. Add-ons are priced based on scope and the outcome you’re trying to achieve — not by upsells.

FAQ

Common questions

Is this really low upfront?

Yes. It’s designed to be an easy decision: $99 one-time setup and $99/month for hosting + care. If you don’t already own a domain name, I can purchase one for you for $20 one-time (the domain is yours).

Do I own my domain?

Yes. You own your domain name at all times.

What’s included in the monthly plan?

Hosting, SSL, security monitoring, backups, software updates, uptime checks, and reasonable minor fixes. If you want bigger additions (new pages, major redesign, advanced SEO work, email systems, etc.), you’ll get a clear quote first.

Am I locked in?

No. You can cancel anytime with written notice (email is fine). Service stays active through the end of your current billing period.

Website Transfer Option (fair exit policy)

If you ever want to move your site to another provider, I offer a Website Transfer Option that makes it straightforward and fair. Transfer pricing is based on how long we’ve worked together.

How long you’ve been a client One-time transfer fee What you receive
12+ months $299 Website files + database export (if applicable)
6–11 months $499 Website files + database export (if applicable)
Under 6 months $799 Website files + database export (if applicable)
Why the tiered pricing? Early on, the setup work is front-loaded. Longer-term clients have already covered that investment through the monthly plan, so the transfer cost is lower.
Website Terms (legal-safe language, customer-friendly)
Website Terms (Summary + Legal Language)

1) Domain Ownership. Client owns the domain name at all times. If Provider assists with purchasing the domain, Client agrees to reimburse the one-time domain purchase fee ($20). Provider will register the domain in Client’s name where practicable, or transfer/assign the domain to Client upon request, subject to registrar policies, verification requirements, and reasonable processing time.

2) Website Provided With Service. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the website is provided as part of the monthly hosting plan. During the active term, Client is granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the website while hosted and maintained by Provider.

3) Monthly Plan Scope (“Reasonable Use”). The monthly plan includes hosting, security monitoring, SSL, backups, software updates, uptime monitoring, and reasonable minor fixes. Requests that require substantial redesign, new page builds, extensive content writing, custom development, advanced SEO campaigns, or third-party tool setups may require an additional quote, which will be presented and approved by Client before work begins.

4) Cancellation. Client may cancel the monthly plan by providing written notice (email acceptable). Service remains active through the end of the then-current billing period. Fees paid are non-refundable except as required by law. Any past-due amounts must be paid in full prior to any transfer delivery.

5) Website Transfer Option. If Client cancels service and wishes to obtain a transferable copy of the website, Client may purchase a one-time Website Transfer Option. Transfer fees are published in the FAQ above and are due in full before delivery. Provider may require reasonable confirmation of Client’s identity and ownership prior to transfer.

6) Transfer Deliverables and Timing. Within 10 business days after Provider receives (a) full payment of the applicable transfer fee and (b) payment of all outstanding invoices, Provider will deliver: (i) a copy of the website files, and (ii) a database export if applicable, in a commonly used format. Delivery may be via secure download link or other reasonable method selected by Provider.

7) Exclusions; Third-Party Licenses. Transfer does not include Provider’s hosting environment, server configurations, proprietary processes, or any third-party paid plugins, themes, fonts, images, or software licenses that are owned or sublicensed by Provider, unless explicitly stated in writing. If the website uses third-party licensed components, Client is responsible for obtaining and maintaining any required licenses after transfer.

8) Post-Transfer Responsibility. After delivery, Client (or Client’s new provider) is solely responsible for hosting, maintenance, updates, security, performance, and compliance. Provider has no ongoing support obligations unless Client separately purchases support in writing.

9) Client Content. Client retains ownership of Client-provided content and branding (e.g., logos, photos, and text) supplied by Client. Client represents and warrants that Client has the rights to use any content provided for inclusion on the site.

10) No Guarantee. Provider builds websites structured for usability, local SEO-readiness, and conversions. Provider does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, or specific business outcomes.

Contact

Get a professional website live in 1–2 weeks

Schedule a quick call

The fastest and easiest way to get started is a short, no-pressure call. This isn’t a sales pitch and there’s nothing to prepare — it’s simply a conversation to understand your business and see if this is a good fit.

You tell me what you do, what you want your website to accomplish (phone calls, quote requests, bookings, walk-ins), and which West Valley cities you serve. From there, I’ll outline exactly what your website should include to look credible, answer customer questions, and make it easy for people to contact you.

I’ll also point out what you don’t need. No overbuilt features. No bloated pages. Just the pieces that actually help local customers decide to call or reach out.

Here’s what you’ll get on the call:
• A clear recommendation for your pages (Home, Services, About, Contact, and anything you actually need)
• The “trust signals” your customers look for (reviews, photos, service area clarity, FAQs, licensing/insurance, and more)
• A simple plan to make it easy to call or request a quote from a phone
• Next steps and timeline — no fluff, no upsell

Zero pressure. Zero risk.
There’s no long-term contract, you can cancel anytime, and you’ll never be surprised by hidden fees. If it feels like a fit, we move forward. If not, you still walk away with clarity on what your website should look like.

Quick calls are usually 10–15 minutes.

How it translates to leads

The plumbing demo is the blueprint (and it works for many trades)

A good local site doesn’t need to be huge — it needs to remove hesitation and make calling you feel like the obvious next step. The Glendale plumber example shows the exact pattern: clarity → trust → contact.

What a local business owner expects to see (and customers expect to feel):

Instant credibility (clean design, consistent messaging, professional copy)
Clear services (no guessing, no scrolling forever to find what you do)
Service area spelled out (cities + neighborhoods you actually serve)
Real photos (truck, owner, jobs, before/after) that make it feel legit
FAQs that answer common objections and reduce junk calls
Call + form options that work perfectly on mobile

This is why the demo is structured the way it is.

Open the live example

Click through it as if you were a customer. You’ll immediately see why the layout converts.

Quick note: For real clients, we replace the demo copy and photos with your real business details, your real service area, your real reviews, and your real “why choose us.” That’s where the magic happens.

If You Want to Talk

If you’re looking at your website (or lack of one) and thinking “this should be working better than it is,” that’s usually where I come in.

Send a short note with who you are, what you do, and what you want the site to accomplish. If I believe I can help, I’ll tell you the cleanest next step. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll tell you that too.
